Man Arrested for DUI and Possession of Stolen Firearm in Gibson County

In a recent incident in Gibson County, a man was taken into custody by Fort Branch Police after being suspected of driving under the influence and possessing a stolen firearm.

Traffic Stop on US 41

The incident took place when authorities conducted a traffic stop on a red GMC truck that was stopped in the roadway on US 41 in Gibson County. The driver of the truck, identified as 29-year-old Colby Fisher, was believed to be under the influence of an unknown substance, prompting the police to take action.

Suspected Intoxication

Upon further investigation, it was determined that Fisher was indeed impaired and he was subsequently placed under arrest for driving under the influence. The authorities also discovered illegal drugs and a stolen firearm in Fisher’s vehicle during a search.

As a result of the findings, Fisher was booked into the Gibson County Jail on multiple charges, including Possession of a Stolen Firearm and Possession of a Synthetic Substance.
