Altercation at Beaver County Bar Leads to Shooting
In the early hours of the morning, a violent incident unfolded at Lil Joe’s Bar in Beaver Falls, Beaver County. The City of Beaver Falls Police responded to a call reporting a shooting at the establishment located in the 2000 block of 7th Avenue.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered a victim who had been shot in the stomach. The injured individual was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, where they are currently in stable condition.
Suspect Identified and Arrested
Authorities were able to identify the suspect as Tazjia Smith, a resident of New Brighton. Smith reportedly fled the scene after shooting the victim but was apprehended at her residence shortly thereafter.
Smith is now facing serious charges, including criminal attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and recklessly endangering another person.
