Accident – Death – Obituary News : The body of Abdul Ezedi, who tragically died from drowning, has been formally identified after being recovered from the River Thames. The confirmation of his cause of death came after a post-mortem examination was conducted on Wednesday.

Ezedi’s family received the heartbreaking news after his formal identification on Thursday, and a file will be passed on to the coroner for further investigation. This devastating incident follows a recent attack in which his former girlfriend and her two young children were doused with a corrosive chemical in Clapham, south west London.

Met Commander Jon Savell expressed the ongoing efforts to identify Ezedi as quickly as possible amidst the investigation into the heinous attack. The woman, aged 31, remains in hospital in a stable condition and is no longer sedated, although authorities have not yet been able to speak with her. They hope to do so as soon as she is well enough.

Ezedi was reported to have fled the scene in Clapham, using his bank card to access the Tube before walking along the River Thames in the hours that followed. The search for answers continues as authorities piece together the events leading up to this tragic incident.
