The bodies of the two victims were found early one Friday morning, prompting an investigation by authorities. It was revealed that the suspect, 25-year-old Nicholas Jordan, was acquainted with the victims. Samuel Knopp, a talented musician pursuing his studies at UCCS, was one of the victims.
Arrest and Charges
Following the discovery of the crime, Nicholas Jordan was apprehended on Monday morning while sitting in a vehicle within the city. He now faces two charges of first-degree murder and is being detained on a hefty bond at El Paso County Jail.
