Teen Murder Suspect Back in Jail After Shooting at Mill Ridge Park in Nashville

A 19-year-old murder suspect, Oswaldo Corado, found himself back in jail following a shooting incident at Mill Ridge Park in Nashville, Tennessee. Corado, who was free on bond while awaiting trial for two separate murder cases, was arrested after shooting a 23-year-old acquaintance in the hand at the park and pointing a gun at the man’s cousin.

Police Investigation and Arrest

The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) swiftly identified Corado as the perpetrator of the shooting at Old Hickory Boulevard park. Concerned about the safety of the community, detectives from various MNPD units, including the Specialized Investigations Division and SWAT/Special Response Team, worked tirelessly to locate Corado after new aggravated assault warrants were issued.

On the night of the incident, MNPD units collaborated with the La Vergne Police Department to apprehend Corado at the Walmart parking lot in La Vergne.
