Tragic Discovery in Pueblo, Colorado

In Pueblo, Colorado, a harrowing discovery has shocked the community. Two adults, Jesus Dominguez and Corena Rose Minjarez, are facing charges in the deaths of two children after police found the remains of one child in a metal container filled with concrete. Further investigation led to the heartbreaking discovery of the remains of another child.

Persons of Interest Identified

Police identified Jesus Dominguez, 35, and Corena Rose Minjarez, 36, as persons of interest in the case when a child’s remains were located in a metal container at a storage unit in Pueblo. This discovery, made in late January, sparked a thorough investigation into the whereabouts of the missing children.

The Missing Children

Yesenia and Jesus Jr. Dominguez, aged approximately 3 and 5 years old respectively, were last seen in the summer of 2018. Their disappearance went unnoticed until recently, when police launched a search for the siblings.

Gruesome Findings

During the investigation, detectives located a vehicle belonging to Minjarez at a scrap yard in Pueblo. A search of the vehicle revealed a suitcase in the trunk, which was found to contain the remains of a young male child. The remains found in the metal container were identified as those of Yesenia Dominguez, while those in the suitcase belonged to Jesus Dominguez Jr.

Arrests and Charges

Arrest warrants were obtained for Minjarez and Dominguez, charging them with murder and abuse of a corpse. Minjarez was swiftly taken into custody, while Dominguez was apprehended two days later. Both are now being held on a $2 million bond, according to online jail records.

A Shocking Revelation

In a disturbing twist, police revealed that no missing person’s reports had ever been filed for Yesenia or Jesus Jr. The authorities were only made aware of the missing children on January 20, prompting a thorough investigation into their disappearance.
