Marine Corps Greatest Sniper Dies at Age 75

It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of one of the Marine Corps’ greatest snipers at the age of 75. His legacy as a sharpshooter in Vietnam will forever be remembered, as his spotter recently wrote a book detailing his incredible 103 confirmed kills, with an additional 216 probables. This was in response to someone else receiving undeserved credit as the best sniper with only 93 kills.

Despite his remarkable achievements, he remained a humble man, only holding a Bronze Star medal with 2 Purple Hearts to his name. His dedication to his country and his exceptional skills as a sniper set him apart as a true hero.

At the time of this reporting, the cause of his death is unknown. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him and serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by our brave servicemen and women.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time. May his legacy live on as a testament to his bravery and skill on the battlefield.
