Tragic Accidents Claim Six Lives in Quetta

On a fateful Sunday in Quetta, two separate accidents resulted in the loss of six lives, leaving the community in mourning. The first incident took place on Airport Road, where a collision between a car and a motorcycle claimed the lives of three individuals. The victims, identified as Bilal, Ahmed, and Ulas Yar, tragically passed away on the spot due to the impact of the accident, which was attributed to speeding.

Authorities rushed to the scene, where police and rescue officials worked diligently to shift the victims to a nearby hospital. Despite their best efforts, the medical team declared the victims dead upon arrival. The bodies of the deceased were then handed over to their grieving families after completing necessary medico-legal formalities.

In a separate incident at Sabzal Road in the Uzbek Chowk area, three labourers met with a fatal accident while cleaning a well. As they descended into the well for maintenance work, the labourers unknowingly inhaled poisonous gases, causing them to lose consciousness and ultimately succumb to the toxic fumes.

Among the deceased were Abdul Baqi, Abdul Wali, and an unidentified third victim, highlighting the dangers faced by workers in hazardous environments. The tragic loss of these individuals serves as a stark reminder of the importance of safety measures and proper training in workplace settings.

As the community grapples with the aftermath of these devastating incidents, it is essential to reflect on the value of human life and the need for increased awareness regarding safety protocols. Let us honour the memory of those who lost their lives by advocating for improved safety standards and promoting a culture of vigilance in our daily activities.
