Tragic Crash Claims Two Lives in Runnels County, Texas

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a fatal single-vehicle crash has left two individuals deceased in Runnels County, Texas. The incident occurred on February 17 at 2:26 p.m. on FM 3115, a rural road located just 15 miles south of the small town of Miles, Texas.

Details of the Crash

According to reports from local authorities, a Ford Explorer was travelling southbound on FM 3115 when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The driver veered off the right side of the road, attempting to regain control by steering back onto the roadway. Unfortunately, this maneuver caused the Ford Explorer to enter into a side skid, ultimately leading to the vehicle overturning.

Tragically, both the driver and a passenger were not wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash and were ejected from the vehicle upon impact. Both individuals lost their lives as a result of the accident.

Victims Identified

The driver has been identified as 27-year-old Ernest Joe Rose III, a resident of Bronte, Texas. The passenger, a 15-year-old whose identity has not been released, also perished in the crash. The tight-knit community of Runnels County is mourning the loss of these two individuals, whose lives were cut short in a devastating moment.
