Tragic Loss of Harris County Deputy Ronald Bates
HOUSTON – The community is mourning the tragic loss of Harris County Deputy Ronald Bates, who was killed in a devastating crash last week. Bates, a 62-year-old off-duty deputy, was identified as the victim of Saturday’s fatal accident in Downtown Houston. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has announced that his funeral will be held on Saturday, with a visitation at 10 a.m. at Fallbrook Church on Walters Road, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m.
