Explosive Traffic Stop in Bushnell, Florida

Two men hailing from South Carolina found themselves in hot water after a Florida Highway Patrol trooper uncovered a stash of cash, drugs, and a firearm during a routine traffic stop in the early hours of Saturday morning.

It was around 2:30 a.m. when the trooper spotted a speeding car zooming down I-75 (State Road 93) near mile marker 312 in Bushnell, Florida. The vehicle, identified as a Dodge Charger due to its distinctive tail light design, was clocked at an alarming 96 mph in a 70 mph zone with radar.

Positioned in the official U-turn area of the interstate, the trooper witnessed the Charger changing lanes and accelerating before finally pulling over when the emergency equipment on the fully marked cruiser was activated.

The trooper was met with a strong odour of marijuana emanating from the Charger as he approached the passenger side of the vehicle, indicating possible illicit activities.

The passenger, later identified as 20-year-old Korey Elijah Muller, was seen breaking apart a joint into a Chick-fil-A cup in the center console, leading to further suspicion.

Upon questioning, both driver, 22-year-old Keyshaun Alfred Muller, and Korey Muller were evasive about the ownership of the marijuana found in the car until Korey Muller eventually claimed responsibility.

Further inspection of the vehicle led to the discovery of additional bags of marijuana, cash amounting to $25,181, a firearm (Mossberg MC20 9MM), and other incriminating items, indicating possible drug distribution.

Both Keyshaun Muller and Korey Muller are now facing a slew of drug-related charges as a result of the incident.
