The residents of the housing board colony in Fauji Nagar, Bhilai, were jolted awake by the sight of flames engulfing the Wargis family home around 6 AM. The morning walkers quickly alerted the local authorities, prompting a swift response from the police and fire brigade.

Mosquito-Repellent Coil Suspected to Have Caused the Fire

Initial investigations suggest that a mosquito-repellent coil may have been the cause of the fire that tragically engulfed the Wargis residence. The intensity of the flames and smoke proved fatal, preventing the elderly couple from escaping or seeking help.
