WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has released the names of the three individuals who tragically lost their lives in a shooting incident that occurred in Northeast D.C. on Wednesday.
At approximately 7:38 p.m., MPD responded to a report of an unconscious person in the 5000 block of Jay St. NE. Upon entering the apartment, authorities discovered the lifeless bodies of two women and a man, all of whom had been fatally shot.
The victims have been identified as 58-year-old Renee Bigelow, who had no fixed address, 40-year-old Kimberly Stevens, and 59-year-old Leon Harper.
