The company has secured official authorisation from the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and Transgrid to operate the Limondale project at full capacity. This step is significant because it confirms that the battery system can perform as intended under the grid’s operational requirements, shifting it from testing and trial phases to routine, full-scale electricity system support.
Battery energy storage plays a growing role in modern electricity networks.
