Structured stress management—combining breathing exercises, graded activity scheduling, and realistic goal setting—supports autonomic balance and can reduce overload.

Importantly, “productivity” should be defined clinically as sustainable functional performance rather than short bursts of output. Mental health care aims to restore adaptive capacity: the ability to concentrate, persist, regulate emotions, recover after setbacks, and maintain healthy relationships.
