According to the Laredo Police Department, the chain of events began when a pick-up truck traveling southbound on Loop 20 near Lake Casa Blanca suddenly lost control, crashing into a pole. Thankfully, a compassionate Good Samaritan stopped to offer assistance to the person trapped inside the white truck. However, the situation took a tragic turn when a blue Corvette collided with the pick-up truck, causing injuries to multiple individuals at the scene.
The impact of the collision resulted in a fire engulfing the vehicles, intensifying the chaos and danger of the situation. Sadly, the passenger of the Corvette, identified as 25-year-old Kassandra Lozano, was pronounced dead at the scene.
