A tragic incident unfolded in the Rohini area of New Delhi, as a 25-year-old man lost his life at the hands of his five friends. The motive behind this shocking crime? The victim’s refusal to buy alcohol for his companions. According to a senior police officer, the accused individuals have been identified as Durgesh Kumar, also known as Bhola (18), Pawan Kumar (21), and Pravesh (18), all residents of Prem Nagar. Additionally, one juvenile has been apprehended, while the fifth suspect remains at large.
The horrifying incident took place on October 14th, when a call was received by the Prem Nagar police station’s control room regarding a young man’s murder in Ram Leela Maidan, Agar Nagar, Delhi. Promptly responding to the call, a police team discovered an unconscious man in the park, bearing visible injury marks on his body. Despite being rushed to S G M Hospital, the victim, identified as Ajeet, sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The police promptly placed Ajeet’s body in the mortuary and registered a case based on the statement provided by the complainant, Jagdish Rao. An extensive investigation was initiated, involving interviews with the complainant, as well as the deceased’s relatives. Additionally, technical evidence was meticulously analyzed to gather further insights into the case.
Through persistent investigative efforts, three individuals were arrested, while one juvenile was taken into custody.
