A devastating incident occurred in Morning Sun, Iowa, resulting in the tragic death of Robert Eugene Mohr, a 47-year-old resident of the town. The Des Moines County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Mohr passed away as a result of a skid loader incident, which was deemed an accidental death.

On Sunday afternoon, at around 3:16 p.m., authorities were alerted to a distressing situation at 18913 240th Street in Morning Sun. Deputies rushed to the scene after receiving a report of a skid loader incident involving Mohr.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered that a skid loader bucket had fallen on Mohr, rendering him unconscious and not breathing. The bucket had become detached from the arm of the skid loader and was lying on the ground next to him.

Efforts to Save Mohr

Paramedics immediately began administering CPR to Mohr in an attempt to revive him. Despite their best efforts, Mohr’s injuries were severe, and he was swiftly transported to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
