Accident – Death – Obituary News :

An 18-year-old high school student from Fall River, Massachusetts, was tragically shot and killed in broad daylight on Thursday. The victim, identified as Colus Jamal Mills-Good, was found with gunshot wounds near Rock and Franklin Streets by officers responding to a report of shots fired.

Victim Rushed to Hospital

Mills-Good was quickly transported to Saint Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, where he was later pronounced dead. Fall River Public Schools Superintendent Maria Pontes confirmed that the victim was a student at the RLM Resiliency Preparatory Academy.

Increased Police Presence at School

Following the tragic incident, Pontes announced that there would be an increased police presence at the school out of an abundance of caution. Grief counselors were also made available to students to provide support during this difficult time.

Appeal for Information

At present, there is no information available about a suspect in the shooting. Authorities have urged anyone with information to contact the Fall River Major Crimes Division at 508-324-2796. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
