Tragic Discovery in Redding
A shocking discovery was made on Sunday, Feb. 18 in Redding, as a jogger stumbled upon the body of Leah Chaparro along Route 53 (Glen Road). The victim, a graduate of Brien McMahon High School in Norwalk, was known for her love of music, dancing, and infectious sense of humor.

State police detectives are actively investigating the suspicious circumstances surrounding Chaparro’s death. Despite the ongoing investigation, police have not revealed details about how Chaparro died or the nature of the crime.
