Along with the young victim, a 24-year-old man was also injured in the shooting, but thankfully, he is in good condition. Man Shot Dead in North Lawndale

Another fatal shooting took place on the same day in the 1300-block of South Christiana Avenue in North Lawndale. Double Fatal Shooting in Albany Park

Late Friday night, tragedy struck in the Albany Park neighborhood when two young men, 20-year-old Victor H. Rodriguez and 21-year-old Jaime I. Serrano, were shot to death. The shooting occurred just before 11:30 p.m. in an alley near Leland and Troy. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, leaving behind grieving families and loved ones. Witnesses reported seeing a black sedan speeding away from the area, but no suspects have been apprehended yet.

Three Men Injured in Englewood

In yet another incident of gun violence, three men were shot on the South Side in the Englewood neighborhood. The shooting took place on 300 West 59th Place, where a group of people was hanging out on a vacant lot. The victims, aged 25, 29, and 29, sustained injuries but are currently in stable condition. The police are actively investigating the incident to bring those responsible to justice.
