In a tragic turn of events, the El Paso County Coroner’s Office has officially identified the man involved in a deadly weekend shooting with the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD). The victim has been named as 40-year-old Michael Hurst.

The shocking incident took place on Saturday night, May 18, when CSPD officers responded to a disturbance on Deerfield Hills Road, located near Hancock Expressway and Milton E. Proby Parkway.
