In a tragic turn of events, a man who was reported as missing has been identified as the deceased person found in a remote desert area in Bullhead City. The city’s police department confirmed that the body discovered on May 7 has been identified as Graig Salzer, a 63-year-old resident of Bullhead City.
Discovery of the Body
According to Bullhead City police, the medical examiner positively identified Salzer’s body on May 15. The discovery was made in a remote desert area off of the Bullhead Parkway, where Salzer’s remains were found. He was reported missing by a concerned friend on April 19, with his last known sighting on April 15.
Circumstances Surrounding the Incident
Police revealed that Salzer had run out of gas on April 15 and had planned to walk to a nearby Circle K on Adobe Road for assistance. It was in this desert area, close to where he was located deceased, that his body was eventually found. A man collecting rocks in the wash area stumbled upon the body on May 7 and reported the discovery to authorities.
Cause of Death
Upon examination, there were no visible signs of trauma on Salzer’s body, leading police to rule out foul play. The exact cause of death is still pending as authorities continue their investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely passing.
