According to Sub-Inspector Mintu Lashkar of Dohar police Station, the harrowing discovery was made after Kajal locked herself and Tabassum in their bedroom on Wednesday afternoon. Despite repeated calls from her concerned mother-in-law, Kajal did not respond, prompting the neighbours to alert the authorities. When the police arrived around 4:30 pm, they found Kajal hanging from the ceiling fan with a scarf around her neck, while Tabassum’s lifeless body lay on the bed.

In a chilling twist, the police uncovered a note in the room left by Kajal. In the note, she requested that her body not be subjected to an autopsy and asked to be buried at her father’s place.
