**Man Arrested in Fatal Crash in East Longmont**

A Longmont man, Nestor Omar Arellano-Almazan, was arrested in connection with a fatal crash that occurred early Saturday morning in East Longmont. The victim in the case was identified as 39-year-old Joshua Larrin of Longmont, according to police and court documents.

**Details of the Incident**

The Weld County Coroner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the victim, but Longmont Public Safety spokesperson Robin Ericson confirmed that Arellano-Almazan and Larrin were the two individuals involved in the tragic incident.

According to Ericson, at 12:46 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a crash just east of East County Line Road. Police believe Larrin was driving a stolen motorcycle on Ken Pratt Boulevard when he was struck by Arellano-Almazan, who was turning his pickup truck onto Timm Way.

Tragically, Larrin died on the scene, and Arellano-Almazan was arrested and booked into Weld County Jail. Police suspect that Arellano-Almazan was under the influence at the time of the crash.

The motorcycle involved in the incident was reported stolen from Longmont, as confirmed by Ericson.
