BREAKING NEWS: Body of Man Found Stuffed Inside Sack Identified in Badian, Cebu

According to police Captain Jerwin Mark Battung, chief of Badian Police Station, the body was found in an advanced state of decomposition. Further investigation is needed to determine the cause of death, including whether the victim was stabbed or shot.
Battung stated that the victim was positively identified by his relatives and that they are working with police in Toledo City to determine if Oralde was previously reported missing.
The sack containing the body was discovered by a passing 17-year-old boy who was gathering firewood near the cliffside. The minor noticed a foul odor emanating from the sack and alerted elders, who then reported the incident to the authorities.
Police Major Windell Abellana, public information officer of the Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO), emphasized that they are exploring all possible angles in the investigation. He appealed to the public to come forward with any information that could help solve the case quickly.
Abellana assured the public that the Badian police are diligently gathering statements from potential witnesses. CPPO director Police Colonel Percival R. Zorrilla has instructed a thorough and evidence-based investigation of the incident.
