Her death has left a void in the hearts of her family and friends, who remember her as a kind, loving, and generous soul.
Glenda was born on November 10, 1955, in Providence, KY, to the late James and Mary Terrell. She grew up in Providence and attended Providence High School, where she excelled academically and made many lifelong friends. After graduating, Glenda went on to pursue a career in nursing, a profession she was passionate about and dedicated to for over 40 years.
Throughout her career, Glenda touched the lives of countless patients with her compassionate care and unwavering dedication. She was known for her gentle bedside manner and her ability to comfort those in need. Glenda’s colleagues admired her professionalism and respected her as a mentor and friend.
In addition to her work, Glenda was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister. She cherished her family above all else and made sure to always put their needs before her own. Glenda’s children and grandchildren were the light of her life, and she took great joy in spending time with them and creating lasting memories.
Glenda was also a woman of faith, and her spirituality guided her throughout her life. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Earlington, where she found strength and solace in her relationship with God. A celebration of Glenda’s life will be held at the First Baptist Church in Earlington on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Glenda’s memory.
