Nashik: Another tragic incident has occurred in Nashik city, just a day after the shocking murder in the Panchavati area on Friday. This time, a 24-year-old autorickshaw driver named Shankar Gadgil was killed following a petty fight in the Ambad area on Saturday night.
Shankar Gadgil, a resident of Gharkul Chunchale scheme in Ambad, was brutally attacked by two men, Ganesh Kamble (25) and his brother Mahendra Kamble (27), after an argument between Gadgil’s wife and Ganesh. The argument escalated, and when Gadgil tried to intervene, the Kamble brothers started beating him with iron and wooden sticks, causing him serious injuries.
Gadgil was rushed to the Nashik Civil Hospital, but unfortunately, he was declared ‘brought dead‘ by the medical staff. The police were immediately informed, and the Kamble brothers were arrested from their residence in Chunchale. They have been taken into custody and will remain in police custody until February 16.
The Panchavati murder case, which occurred the previous day, is still ongoing, with the police currently searching for three suspects who kidnapped and killed Sandesh Kajale.
