New York State police Investigate Fatal Crash in St. Lawrence County
Authorities in St. Lawrence County, New York are currently investigating a tragic incident that resulted in the death of one person last week. On Friday, Feb. 9, the New York State Police responded to reports of a collision between a car and a UPS truck on U.S. Highway 11.

According to the initial investigation, a black Mitsubishi Glant entered U.S. Highway 11 from East Dekalb Road and failed to yield the right of way to the UPS truck. The car was being driven by Pamela Moyer, 65, and had two passengers – 91-year-old Pearl Wishney and 20-year-old Gabriel Moyer, both residents of Hermon, NY.
As a result of the collision, both passengers in the Mitsubishi Glant sustained injuries and were immediately transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Tragically, Pearl Wishney was pronounced dead at the hospital, while Gabriel Moyer’s injuries were severe enough to warrant transportation to Upstate Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. Fortunately, the driver of the UPS truck escaped unharmed.
