Lagos police Arrest Notorious ‘One Chance’ Syndicate in Surulere

In a recent development, the Lagos State Police Command has successfully apprehended a notorious ‘one chance’ syndicate operating within the Itire, Aguda, Cele, and Surulere axes. The arrest was made by diligent operatives of the Nigerian Police, who have been working tirelessly to combat criminal activities in the area.

The leader of the gang, identified as Ndubisi George, a 49-year-old man, was taken into custody. George was known for orchestrating several criminal operations in the aforementioned areas, causing distress and fear among the residents.

According to the Lagos police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, the arrest of George and his gang was a significant breakthrough in their efforts to maintain law and order in the state. He further stated that the police were able to recover a grey Toyota Camry, along with other illegal items, during the operation.

George, who has been arraigned in court, will remain in prison until March 18, 2024, for further hearings. The police are also intensifying their efforts to apprehend other members of the syndicate who are still at large.

The police are determined to bring him to justice and hold him accountable for his actions.
