Two Arrested in Connection to Murder of Man Found in Aiken County
Aiken, S.C. – In a tragic incident that has shocked the community, two individuals have been apprehended in connection with the murder of Devon Tricoche, whose lifeless body was discovered at a boat landing in Aiken County. The grim discovery was made on November 28, when Tricoche’s remains were found in the Edisto River. The Aiken County Coroner’s Office has determined that Tricoche sustained at least one gunshot wound to his body, indicating a violent end to his life.
The investigation into this heinous crime has taken a significant step forward, as the Lexington County Sheriff’s Office recently announced the arrest of two suspects in connection with the fatal shootings of two individuals in unrelated incidents. Allon Triante Adams, a 22-year-old resident of Leesville, and Cady Elise Keener, a 19-year-old from Lexington, now face charges of murder, armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and the desecration of human remains, according to arrest warrants.
Authorities have revealed chilling details about the crimes allegedly committed by Adams and Keener. Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon stated, “Based on evidence and the information detectives have gathered during interviews, Adams and Keener shot a man to death during an armed robbery in the 600 block of Kestrel Drive in Leesville in late November. Adams and Keener shot another man to death while trying to rob him on Parrish Road in Leesville on December 30.”
It has been determined that Tricoche was the victim of the November 28 shooting, while the individual killed on December 30 has been identified as Tony Etheredge Jr., according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher. Adams and Keener have been placed under custody at the Lexington County Detention Center as the legal proceedings unfold.
Expressing gratitude for the assistance provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Koon affirmed that the investigations into both crimes remain ongoing, with the possibility of additional charges being filed. He urged anyone with information related to either case to come forward, emphasizing that anonymous tips shared through the Crimestoppers mobile app could potentially lead to a cash reward.
As the community mourns the loss of Devon Tricoche and Tony Etheredge Jr., their families and friends are left grappling with the devastating consequences of senseless violence. The arrest of the two suspects offers a glimmer of hope for justice, but the pain and grief felt by loved ones will undoubtedly endure..
