Two Teenagers Arrested for Fatal Stabbing of 19-Year-Old Student
New Delhi: In a disturbing incident that has shaken the community, two teenagers have been arrested for the alleged murder of a 19-year-old student from a government school in Rajouri Garden. The victim, identified as Alok Mathur, was fatally stabbed in the chest and back following a previous altercation.
The accused, 18-year-olds Saurav Chopra and Pratham, were apprehended on Sunday after an intensive investigation by the police. According to DCP (west) Vichitra Veer, the lifeless body of a young man was discovered in a park at around 8:45 am on Saturday. Upon examination, it was determined that he had died on the spot due to stab wounds inflicted by a sharp or pointed object.
Following their questioning, Chopra was identified as the prime suspect in the case. He subsequently confessed to his involvement in the incident. The police officer further revealed that Pratham, the associate of Chopra, was also identified and arrested.
