Seventeen-year-old Nicholas David, a resident of St. Francisville, was identified as the victim by the West Feliciana Parish Sheriff’s Office. The accident took place at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Bains Road when David’s red Ford Mustang veered across the center line and collided head-on with a gravel truck.
Brayden McEachern, an 18-year-old passenger from St. Francisville, was also involved in the collision and was subsequently airlifted to a Baton Rouge hospital. The extent of McEachern’s injuries remains unknown at this time. The truck involved in the accident belonged to the West Feliciana Parish Government, and fortunately, the operator emerged unharmed.
