Jonathan Tyleke Fair, the gunman responsible for a shooting in Beaufort that left a 3-year-old girl dead, has been captured. Fair, who is the father of the child, is charged with murder, attempted murder, and unlawful neglect of a child.

Weeks after a tragic shooting incident in Beaufort that resulted in the death of a 3-year-old girl and injuries to two other individuals, authorities have announced the capture of the gunman responsible. The suspect, Jonathan Tyleke Fair, 27, was apprehended shortly after midnight on Monday.

Fair is not only the alleged shooter but also the father of the child who lost her life in the incident. The victim, identified as Ariana Fair, tragically succumbed to her injuries. The shooting took place at the Cross Creek Apartments on October 1, and it was prompted by a domestic dispute during a child exchange, according to investigators.

The child’s mother and her boyfriend, who were also involved in the incident, have been treated for their injuries and subsequently discharged from the hospital. Fair, on the other hand, is now facing serious charges, including murder, two counts of attempted murder, and three counts of unlawful neglect of a child.
