DC Witness Reports Fatal Shooting Incident in Northeast DC
In a tragic turn of events, the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has announced an ongoing investigation into a fatal shooting incident that occurred in Northeast DC. The incident took place on September 15th at approximately 8:25 a.m. in the 400 block of 50th Street, Northeast.

Upon responding to a shooting report, officers found an unconscious adult male in the alley of the reported location, suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of the DC Fire and EMS, the victim, identified as 44-year-old James Price, was pronounced dead at the scene. James Price, who had no fixed address, tragically lost his life in this senseless act of violence.
The MPD is urging anyone with information about this incident to come forward by calling (202) 727 – 9099 or texting a tip to MPD’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this homicide.
