Man’s Body Recovered from Newfound Lake
The New Hampshire State Police – Marine Patrol is currently investigating the tragic death of a man whose body was found in Newfound Lake. The incident was reported by a paddle boarder who spotted a possible body in the water near Lakeside Road.

The victim has been identified as John Quinlan, a 77-year-old man from East Weymouth, Massachusetts. Authorities from the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department, the Bristol Police Department, and the New Hampshire Office of the Chief Medical Examiner all responded to the scene to assist in the recovery and investigation.
