The Whitewater community was left in shock on Friday, Aug. 30, when Whitewater Police responded to a call on the 100 block of W. Whitewater Street regarding an individual who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds in an apartment. Tragically, officers found a deceased 21-year-old female at the scene.

The male suspect, a 23-year-old who was known to the victim, was arrested and is facing serious charges including First-Degree Intentional Homicide.
