Death – Obituary- Cause of Death News : It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald Gibbs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. Gerald’s kind heart and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.
Gerald was born on January 15, 1950, in a small town in the Midwest. He grew up surrounded by a close-knit community and developed a strong work ethic from a young age. After graduating from high school, he went on to attend college and pursued a career in business.

Throughout his professional life, Gerald was known for his dedication and passion for his work. He was a respected leader in his field and always went above and beyond to ensure the success of his team. Outside of work, Gerald had a love for the outdoors. He enjoyed spending time in nature, whether it was hiking in the mountains, fishing by the lake, or simply taking a leisurely stroll through the park. He found peace and solace in the beauty of the natural world and often shared his love for the outdoors with his family and friends.
Gerald was also a devoted family man. He cherished his time spent with his wife of 40 years, Sarah, and their two children, Emily and Jacob. He was a loving and supportive father, always there to offer guidance and encouragement. He took great pride in watching his children grow and succeed in their own lives.
In addition to his immediate family, Gerald was also a beloved grandfather to three grandchildren, Lily, Ethan, and Ava. He adored his grandchildren and cherished the moments he spent playing with them, reading them stories, and watching them grow. His face would light up with joy whenever he was in their presence.

A memorial service to celebrate Gerald’s life will be held on Saturday, July 24th, at 11:00 am at St. John’s Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Gerald’s honor.
Gerald’s passing is a great loss to our community, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. May his memory be a blessing to us all, and may we carry on his legacy of love and kindness in his honor. Rest in peace, Gerald Gibbs. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
