According to PMAJ. Juan Jhayar Maggay, Chief of Cabugao Police Station, Agcaoili had been drinking that night and it is believed that he may have fallen into the irrigation canal on his way home. The heavy rain that night caused a strong current, which may have carried his body downstream.
