The Los Angeles community is deeply saddened by the passing of Alex Bantug, a beloved member of our community who left us on Friday, August 16, 2024. Alex’s presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service to celebrate Alex’s life will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at the San Jose Community Center. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alex’s favorite charity, the San Jose Homeless Shelter, in his honor.
