Investigation Underway After Woman Mauled to Death by Great Danes in Feather Falls
In a tragic turn of events, the Butte County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the death of 56-year-old Davina Corbin from Feather Falls, who was found mauled to death by dogs. The investigation began when a passerby discovered her lifeless body on Blackhawk Trail and alerted authorities.

An autopsy revealed that Corbin had multiple bite marks and injuries consistent with a dog attack. Subsequently, deputies obtained a search warrant and discovered approximately 25 Great Danes roaming freely on a nearby property. They were able to capture 23 of the dogs, but two are still missing.
