Lynette was born on March 15, 1960, in Tauranga, New Zealand. She grew up in a loving family and was known for her kind heart and generous spirit. She graduated from Tauranga High School and went on to pursue a career in nursing, where she dedicated her life to helping others.

In her free time, Lynette enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She had a passion for travel and loved exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. Lynette was always eager to lend a helping hand and was involved in various community service projects throughout her life.
Lynette is survived by her husband of 30 years, John, her two children, Sarah and Michael, and her three grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, nieces, nephews, and many friends who will cherish her memory forever.
A celebration of Lynette’s life will be held on July 25, 2024, at St. Peter’s Church in Tauranga. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Cancer Society in Lynette’s memory.
Lynette’s passing is a reminder of the precious gift of freedom of speech, and the importance of honoring one’s memory without interference. May her legacy live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
