The Chevrolet was driven by 28-year-old Jose Contreras, with 26-year-old Christina Perez as the passenger, both from Memphis, Tennessee. Perez was airlifted to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis for treatment of serious injuries, while Contreras sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.
