Woman and Three Children Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash in Burlington, Maine
A woman and three children were rushed to the hospital after being involved in a single-vehicle crash in Burlington, Maine. The incident occurred on Long Ridge Road in Penobscot County, and Maine State Police troopers responded to the scene around 5:45 p.m.

The vehicle involved in the crash was identified as a 2016 red Chevrolet Equinox. Witnesses reported that the car had hit a curb in Lincoln, resulting in two blown tires before the crash occurred in Burlington. The car was found rolled onto its side in the woods with both passenger side tires blown out.
The driver of the vehicle was identified as 48-year-old Jennifer Harriman from Burlington. Three children, including an 8-year-old and two 1-year-olds, were also in the car at the time of the crash. Fortunately, all the injuries sustained were not considered life-threatening.
Harriman was transported to Eastern Maine Medical Center by ambulance, while one of the 1-year-olds was taken to the same hospital by LifeFlight. The other 1-year-old and the 8-year-old were brought to Penobscot Valley Hospital by ambulance.
The crash is currently under investigation, and agencies such as the Maine Warden Service, Howland Fire Department, Lincoln Fire Department, and Life Flight assisted in the response to the incident.
