Death – Obituary- Cause of Death News : Rachelle DeCapua, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 15, 2021, at the age of 72. Her passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew her, as she was a pillar of strength, kindness, and love.

Born on June 3, 1949, in Philadelphia, Rachelle was the daughter of the late Joseph and Maria DeCapua. She grew up in a close-knit family and developed a strong sense of loyalty and compassion that she carried with her throughout her life.

Rachelle was a devoted wife to her husband of 50 years, Anthony DeCapua, and together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was a dedicated mother to her three children, Michael, Jennifer, and Anthony Jr., and a loving grandmother to her six grandchildren. Family was everything to Rachelle, and she took great joy in spending time with her loved ones, whether it was baking cookies with her grandchildren or sharing stories around the dinner table.

In addition to her roles as a wife, mother, and grandmother, Rachelle was a loyal friend to many. She had an infectious smile and a warm heart, and she always made those around her feel welcome and loved. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Rachelle’s life will be held on September 20, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Philadelphia. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. Rachelle will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery alongside her beloved parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Rachelle’s memory. Rachelle fought a brave battle against cancer, and the family hopes that contributions to cancer research will help others in their fight against this devastating disease.

Rachelle DeCapua touched the lives of so many with her warmth, love, and compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire all who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she was loved and cherished by all who were fortunate enough to call her a friend.
