In a surprising turn of events in Indianapolis, a 16-year-old boy was arrested after police discovered converted firearms, ammunition, and marijuana in his possession. The chase ended when the Nissan veered off the road on West 62nd Street, and all four occupants fled on foot. During the pursuit, the 16-year-old was seen discarding a handgun over a fence. Eventually, all occupants were apprehended, and the handgun, a black .45-caliber Glock 21 with a machine gun conversion device, was recovered.

A search of the Nissan revealed 75 grams of marijuana in the glove compartment and additional marijuana in the center console. Inside the backpack belonging to the teenager, officers found ammunition, a machine gun conversion kit, and two loaded handguns, a .40-caliber Glock 22 and a 10mm Rock Island Armory 1911. The teenager was also carrying $423 in cash at the time of his arrest.
