In a shocking turn of events, a Shenandoah man, Dennis Bugden, is facing felony burglary charges after allegedly swiping aluminum from his former employer. The incident took place at the Jeld-Wen factory in Ringtown, where Bugden entered through a shipping dock door in the overnight hours. He was caught on camera both inside and outside the facility, wearing a curly brown wig. Bugden then attempted to sell the stolen aluminum, valued at $211.80, to SOS Metals near Mount Carmel. This incident came to light after employees at the plant reported missing metal dating back to July 2023. Bugden was arraigned and released on $20,000 unsecured bail, with a preliminary hearing set for July 17.

**Man Wanted for Fleeing Police on Bike**

A Columbia County man, Nathan Hays, is currently wanted after leading state troopers on a chase on a motorcycle. The pursuit began in Ashland when Sergeant Thomas Hornung of the State Police at Schuylkill Haven attempted a traffic stop. Hays, the driver of the motorcycle, fled, weaving in and out of traffic and nearly causing multiple collisions. The chase continued until Numidia, where the pursuit was called off for safety reasons. Hays is facing felony fleeing and over 70 traffic violations for this incident.

A Mahanoy City man, Jostin Caba, was cited for a hit-and-run incident after striking a parked car and fleeing the scene. The crash occurred at Main Street and Brandonville Road, where Caba was driving too fast for road conditions. After colliding with the parked car, Caba left the scene, but was later located at his home by state troopers. He was cited for the crash, and the disabled vehicle had to be towed.

**Shenandoah Man Wanted for Fleeing Police**

Another Shenandoah man, Robert Timm III, is wanted after fleeing from state troopers in Mahanoy City. Troopers attempted to stop Timm’s vehicle, but he abandoned it and fled on foot. The driver managed to escape, leaving troopers with no choice but to issue a warrant. Timm is facing misdemeanor fleeing charges as well as several traffic citations.

**Frackville Woman Cited for Criminal Mischief**

In a separate incident, a Frackville woman, Jessica Lash, was cited for criminal mischief in connection with a break-in in West Mahanoy Township. The incident took place on East Pine Street in Altamont, where someone had broken into a car trailer. Lash was cited in connection with this incident.

John Charles of Shenandoah was cited for a dog law violation after his dog escaped his home and bit another dog. The incident occurred near Centre and Lehigh Streets, where Charles’ dog attacked a woman’s dog while she was walking it along the street. Charles was cited for this violation.

State Police at Frackville are currently investigating a burglary in the Schuylkill Township village of Tuscarora. The incident, which took place on Locust Street, involved someone breaking into a building and stealing various tools. The investigation is ongoing.
