Tragedy struck in Nagpur, Maharashtra, when a 60-year-old man named Ratnakar Dixit met with a fatal accident while riding his bicycle in Raje Raghuji Nagar. Ratnakar, a resident of the area, was on his way to a local medical shop to buy medicine when a speeding school bus struck him from behind.

According to reports, Ratnakar lost control of his bicycle upon being hit by the bus and was tragically run over by its rear wheels. Despite being rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for treatment, Ratnakar succumbed to his injuries.
