Following the incident, the Maharashtra Police arrested Rajesh Shah for allegedly not cooperating with the investigation. Controversy Surrounding the Case

During the court hearing, the police alleged that Rajesh Shah instructed his son to flee the scene of the accident and asked Bidawat to take the driver’s seat. The defence lawyer argued that there was no concrete evidence implicating Shah in the crime and questioned the need for Bidawat’s custody.

Court Ruling

After hearing arguments from both sides, the court granted Rajesh Shah bail on a temporary cash bond of Rs 15,000. The case continues to unfold as authorities search for Mihir Shah, the main suspect in the hit-and-run incident.
