In a swift response to a shooting incident, the Parañaque City police managed to apprehend one of the suspects just four hours after the crime took place on Sunday, July 7. The arrested suspect, known only as alias Rocky, was caught along Quirino Avenue in San Dionisio, Parañaque City at around 11:00 a.m.

Details of the Shooting Incident
The victim, identified as alias Ronald, was a 28-year-old man who tragically lost his life in the incident. Ronald had gone to a nearby store to cash-in some money when two suspects on a motorcycle shot him multiple times, resulting in his immediate death. The suspects, later identified as Rocky and Muhannad Manguda Bangen, quickly fled the scene towards Las Piñas.
Witness Account and Police Investigation
A witness who was present at the crime scene informed the police that the suspects fled on a Yamaha NMAX motorcycle after committing the heinous act. Following the arrest of Rocky, the police recovered a .38 caliber revolver with live ammunition and an empty shell from him. The weapon was sent to the SPD Forensic Unit for further examination.

According to Col. Melvin Montante, the chief of Parañaque City police, the motive behind the killing is suspected to be related to illegal drugs.
